I had to go back to Bungendore and was a little more organised the second time.  The Whistles were still there and a few other goodies as listed in http://carwoolabirds.blogspot.com.au/2014/02/bungendore-is-dux.html

Yesterday at Stromlo Forest Park there were at least 6 Whit-fronted Chats between the crit track and the dam.

This morning at Bungendore Sewage Ponds I counted 29 Plumed Whistling ducks - some showing plumes very well - on the bank closest to the tanker filling bay.
