There is still a Singing Honeyeater at West Belconnen Pond. The attached map of the northern end of the pond which shows the locations I have found it in over the last 3 days. It is mostly feeding on insects but does visit the Kangaroo Paws and other flowers planted around the houses indicated. Listen for the ‘prrit’ call similar to the one in http://ibc.lynxeds.com/sound/singing-honeyeater-lichenostomus-virescens/various-calls-one-bird.
