Hi Kym,

I think that is an impressive photo "Bait Ball for Raptor" and it is a Brown Goshawk, not a Collared Sparrowhawk. The clear features are round tail, features of head and beak shape, middle toe similar length to other toes, plumage pattern of an immature bird, Collared Sparrowhawks don't go through that stage. And size compared to Starlings would be too big for a Collared Sparrowhawk.

As for the others, yes Brown Falcon & Black Kites but the one bird on the right on the fence of the two Black Kites on the fence, does not fit a Black Kite but too hard to see what. I can't pick a Little Eagle or Whistling Kite in the photos.

We have had many records of single Black Kites in our area, mostly in summer. I wonder how many there have been of two or more.

Philip

Also of great interest  was  NUMEROUS  whistling kites LITTLE EAGLE I THINK    in one area,  the three photos show  9 kites one little eagle

POOR QUALITY  was out of my range due to the disbelievers I took them anyway
