Hi Sue,
As I have been the main proponent on the chatline of the growing number of constructed wetlands in Gungahlin, it is only fair to offer to be of help. I would be happy to be a kind of guide, not to the birds per se, but at least to the best spots to see them. Another person who may be interested in helping is Bill Graham who clearly shares my interest.

The COG outing to Kelly Swamp to celebrate World Wetlands Day next Sunday is cancelled due to Kelly Swamp being dry!  I plan to organise a wetlands outing in March to some of the Gungahlin ponds that have been the subject of chatline postings.  If you can recommend good spots to visit in Gungahlin (not Mulligans Flat NR) please email me with directions and likely species.
