Its been inspiring to see how diligently a group of birding enthusiasts at Bawley Point have been minding the 3 Hooded Plover chicks that hatched on New Year's Day. There is constant oversight of the area in which the parents and chicks are located - from dawn to dusk - to protect the birds from humans and dogs. Here's a picture of one of the chicks  ...
