Thanks to a pointer from local bird-watcher Dimitris (a former ANU student), I enjoyed observing a colony of Southern Emu-wren in Cullendulla reserve at Batemans Bay). Very secretive, but patience was rewarded with periodic glimpses through the ferny undergrowth.
