Chris, Try the car park on the western side of the Australian institute of Sport in Bruce. They have been very vocal there lately. Listen for the beautiful "rolling croak" call of the adults or chase up any begging calls from the young. The morning might be your best time. Cheers, Mark -----Original Message----- From: Chris Sent: Wednesday, 22 January 2014 10:58 AM To: Canberra Birds Subject: Superb Parrots Hi all, just wondering if anyone can suggest a good location to look for Superb Parrots this evening/tomorrow morning? My folks are in town for the night and I'd like to try and show them some. Cheers, Chris Ps. Satin Bowerbird in my backyard in Narrabundah this morning was a first for my yard list. **************************************************************************** *************************** |
