A ride around Mulligans this morning didn't offer up much of interest.
Highlights were a few pairs of White-browed Woodswallows and White-winged
Trillers by a small dam in the far east of the reserve near the Gooroo gate,
several Superb Parrots, a Pacific Heron, 3 Brown Goshawks, 2 Collared
Sparrowhawks, a Brown Falcon and a Horsfield's Bronze-cuckoo heard.
The big dam is full with 6 Pink-eared Ducks among the waterfowl.
The place looks very dry despite water being present in most dams. All the
Blakely's red gums, mature trees and saplings, are suffering from a major lerp
infestation.
Cheers
Marnix
