No reason why it wouldn't be of course. Could also be learning of the song from one male to another or child. Though that could well be less likely, who knows.

At a site near Gundaroo is a White-winged Triller that sometimes starts its song with a  Cockatiel call. It has appeared again this year. This bird has visited the site now for 3 years in a row.
