My thanks for all the expert COG advice - it’s a Spotted Harrier not a Swamp.

It lacks the white rump of the latter. And the plumage conforms to Spotted..as shown more clearly in this side shot-

This raptor was hunting low over wheat fields just out of Harden yesterday - snapped from car window.

Am I right in thinking it’s likely to be  a Swamp Harrier? (from flying/hunting mode, colouring, wingtips, legs etc)
