Hi Peter,

That blue egg is mine. :) That is a picture I took of one of my eggs in a wattlebird nest. I posted it on my blog which probably has a tag for red wattlebird, which is why it came up in the search. I am doing an experiment where I place fake eggs in wattlebird nests to see if they will reject the egg. The wattlebird is a cuckoo host so I'm testing for their ability to recognise foreign eggs.
