After all that red, this may be a relief.  Richard Allen’s banding site at Weddins over the weekend had a bluish tinge.  Those below all made an appearance, except for Mr Pied, which has been included because he was there in the previous Spring.  Incidentally, the White-browed Woodswallows that were abundant there last year are currently absent, although there were a few along the roadsides on the drive there.  These, curiously,  are (or were) known as ‘Blueys’ in country Victoria.
