Hello subscribers

Stephen Debus has asked me to let COG members and friends know that in consultation with BirdLife Southern NSW, the 2014 ABSA AGM and conference will be held in the
theatrette at the Australian National Botanic Gardens, Canberra on Saturday 15 March 2014. This venue has been confirmed and booked.

The Australasian Raptor Association is arranging some speakers, as is BirdLife Southern NSW, but it is hoped to have some input from the Canberra Ornithologists Group whose members are warmly invited to attend the conference.

A flyer will be available soon but at this stage if COG members or friends want to individually present papers on bird research or projects (e.g. surveys) in the ACT, Stephen has suggested
you contact Jeff Hardy (ABSA President) directly, and as soon as possible on , as places for speakers are filling up fast.
