Hi,
I found nests of Buff-rumped Thornbill and White-throated Gerygone on a same tree at maybe-I-tell-u-later. Thornbill nest is on a tiny camouflaged hole right on wall of trunk 4 feet above ground. Gerygone's nest is beet root shape with 'dangling root' and an upper flap opening.
Wonder if these r commonly found during breeding season.
A pair of Peewee built a nest on a tree right outside my manager's room at level 3 in Tuggeranong. Last week the nest was destroyed completely overnight w mud debris found on the ground.
Cheers,
Tun Pin

There is an easy one in Kambah, on Urambi Hills reserve, (in the fenced area) near the corner of Learmonth & Meredith. I found it the week before the blitz, on the blitz day and both parents still sitting yesterday. That is to say I watched them change over. I could show it to someone interested.
