A white ibis was watched eating the eggs of a red-kneed dotterel today, at
Jerrabomberra Wetlands about two-o-clock. The adult was trying hard to distract
it away, and fluttered at its head, but no luck. Once the nest was found that
was it.

In Spain where white ibis were introduced they have become a problem by eating
wader eggs and there are discussions on their eradication.
