Hi everyone You may have noticed that there is a planned COG outing to Braidwood this Sunday to survey revegetated sites on 6 properties, as a follow up to a surveys we did 2 years ago. This is not a normal COG outing, in that it requires 12 experienced birders (2 per property); ie you would need to be able to identify species by call. For a variety of reasons (including 3 of the potential surveyors having surgery this week), I require more volunteers. It will be an early start, departing Canberra about 6.15-6.30 so that surveys can start at 8.
If you can help - and, even better, if you can find another person to survey with you - please contact me TODAY. If I have insufficient numbers by tomorrow night (Tuesday), I will have to advise the Braidwood landholders that the survey will not go ahead.
Thanks Sue |
