Many thanks to all of you who participated. Wasn’t it a relief to have fairly decent weather! Our first blitz, I believe, that started with a frost though. The data are already rolling in nicely and as usual, there are a few surprises, both presences and absences. My personal highlight was a modest one, this year – a female koel inspecting, of all things, a recently vacated raven’s nest. Keep the data rolling in please. A brief “highlights” will be presented along with prizes at January’s members night and a full report in Canberra Bird Notes in due course. b
