They were there today at 3pm-is. Daryl happened by and pointed out the starting
of the nest, which the birds later visited alternately. At one point they were
vigorously chased by a Noisy Friarbird. However, the Friarbird seem to just
tire of this after a few minutes. It then perched and a few more minutes later
flew away.
Other birds seen were a Black-faced Cuckoo-Shrike (juv), a Rufous Whistler
(fem), a Yellow-faced Honeyeater and 3 or 4 Red Wattlebirds, with a pair of
Grey Teals and a Reed Warbler in creek.
