A Rose Robin has been heard but not yet seen (thus sex unknown) in my GBS site at Carwoola this morning.

This is the first I have recorded here and on checking a spreadsheet supplied to me by John Bissett he had not recorded one at his nearby property in the period from December 2001 until he left earlier this year.

Martin.

We had a female Rose Robin in the garden here in Florey for a couple of days late last week, and this morning a pair of Rufous Whistlers, making a change from the Golden Whistler that has been hanging around all winter. Also a couple of Noisy Friarbirds and several small groups (4-5) of Yellow-Faced Honeyeaters moving through the park in the last week or so.
