I don’t know if it’s Spring or some other stimulus, but I sighted today a flock of five Black-winged Stilts on LBG on the shoreline below the old Lennox House (west basin).  They were there at 1:15pm when I walked past to a meeting and still there at 3:15 when I walked back.  My last sighting was at a point just 100-200m north of the clump of willows on the shore going north from the Museum.  Each time someone walks past, they spook and fly in tight formation to a spot a couple hundred meters away and then return.
