A number of signs of Spring:
  • 3 Black-faced Cuckoos-shrikes (usually we only get one or two at this time of year, but this is the second group of three birds)
  • 10 Yellow-faced Honeyeaters heading Eastwards and upwards (plus 3 more singing loudly in the trees);
  • the first Grey Fantail of the season;
  • The first Bearded Dragon of the season crouched in the middle of Captains Flat Rd.
