But what is the “Y”, and where is “Jamo”?

Hi Marg

Good news. These are probably the pair that nested on the roof of the Y at Jamo for the last 3+ years.  I inquired at the desk at the Y last year about the plovers on their roof. The woman at the desk said they were aware of them and so was the ranger but I didn’t find out what he did about them.

Hi,

Three (was four) plover chicks seen last weekend in the compound where the old pub used to be next to the Jamison shops.
