there were quite a few yellow-faced honeyeaters around the Molonglo Gorge today as Jean, Lia and I walked the track to Blue Tiles picnic area and back (see Jean's message re the COG outing this coming Sunday). Also several fan-tailed cuckoos calling, although the only one we actually saw was at the entrance gate to Kowen forest
