Feeding for over two hours in a flowering cherry on the edge of Mt Rogers were at least three Scarlet Honeyeaters. Two with male plumage. The trees were in full sun on a calm day and had simple flowers rather than the multi-petalled types. The flowers are pale pink. I found them at about 10.30 with accompanying Yellow-faced HE and occasionally Eastern Spinebills and White-naped HE. The trees are in a garden. Enter the reserve from Schwarz Place (northern arm of the T-shape) and follow the wire fenceline.
