Hi All I took my dogs for a walk at the arboretum this afternoon, and saw many Austtalasian pippits. At one point we startled a pair, which took flight, much to the excitement of my dogs. After a few seconds of incessant barking from my dogs, the pair pair flew again, this time engaged in an aerial fisticuff. A little earlier, there was another pair (amongst all the other birds) that began to sing. It was a song I hadn't heard before, and was a pretty one too. Matt. |
