There were plenty of small birds in feeding flocks along the northern fence line of Narrabundah Hill (Duffy) this morning between 11.35am and 13.35pm. Lovely to be out in cool and sunny weather.

 

Also not seen for some time around 2pm but up the hill towards the trig, one Brown Falcon and 4 Double-barred Finch.

 

The list for the northern boundary fence consists:

. 2 Wedge-tailed Eagles

. 2 Pacific Black Duck

. 8 Galah

. 12 Sulphur Crested Cockatoo

. 8 Crimson Rosella

. 2 Eastern Rosella

. 30 Superb Fairy-wren (estimate)

. 5 Speckled Warbler in vibrant stripes

. 8 Wee Bill

. 12 Striated Thornbill

. 10 Yellow-rumped Thornbill

. 4 Buff-rumped Thornbill

. 12 Brown Thornbill

. 4 Striated Pardalote

. 5 White-eared Honeyeater

. 1 Red-wattle Bird

. 2 Grey Shrike-thrush

. 2 Australian Magpie

. 2 Pied Currawong

. 1 Willie-wagtail

. 2 Australian Raven

. 5 Scarlet Robin

. 1 Starling

. 5 Red-browed Finch
