Hi! In the off chance that some of you may be thinking of splurging and going to buying a "good" spottting scope. I've recently come across an out standing one which doesn't break the bank at around $500 . I've compared this "Vanguard Endeavor" to my own $2000 scope along with a couple of Swarifski ones and have found it to be almost on a par with these. Its made in China and has a 82 mill objective lens with a 20 - 60 eye piece , I honestly believe that this company is trying to break into the high end of optics and are selling these quality scopes at a loss. Even their Binoculars are something to be looked at and of course I've only found out about them after laying out $2000, so believe me, they are well worth a look before you go buying anything else.
