Hi All

Thank you so much to the gentlemen who were advising their  grandson of bird species at the Jerra Wetlands

As he alerted me there was and "Eagle " in the distance

Also to Phillip for confirming the ID

My query is there was  a  Little Eagle and Two  Whistling Kites, sharing a rabbit for  morning tea, which in itself I found strange with no issues ( you can just see at touch of blood on the Little eagles beak  I was a fair range away when taken )

The Little Eagle Lifted off

Then  one of the Whistling kites flew to the dam ( back one )  and appeared to be chasing the coots and ducks, but just had rabbit the other theory put to me was they were swooping on the water to clean the feathers after the meal the second one did the same

Could any one suggest what they were doing  please in the second shot you can see the duck or coot duck for cover  I would as well

Then sat in the sun and dried off calling the other one in another tree

Cheers
