Hi, after a long wait we now have available the BirdLife Australia Working List of Australian Birds. This has been a long time in the development and is a fantastic achievement. The list, and information about it, are available online at http://www.birdlife.org.au/conservation/science/taxonomy .

And yes, it has the Australian Magpie as Cracticus tibicen.
