About 1430h departing Fedra Olive Grove, Collector saw about 16 Aust. Wood Ducks by pond on left. An odd looking hybrid stood out, larger and mostly white like a Muscovy with some of the female Wood Duck's speckling on the flanks and some brown about the nape and neck. Did not stop and no photos taken. Has this cross been recorded before in the COG area or other places in Australia? Do these species hybridize?
