A Yellow-billed Spoonbill flew away from West Belconnen Pond this afternoon, heading north east.

 

Good numbers of Pink-eared Duck and Freckled Duck, and a female Musk Duck still present. Perching sites were in demand in some places as in the attached photo taken at the northern island - 3 of the Freckled Duck, 5 of the Pink-eared Duck and one of the many shovelers crowding in together.
