I’ve often seen big flocks in Yarralumla that I can only describe as a Harem – one male to 20+ females. Anyone know if that is a usual occurrence? Or just lucky for that one male.

Subject: [canberrabirds] large flocks king parrots
while I admiring the 4 king parrots munching the berries on my cedar tree this morning, a flock of 23 more flew over - the largest group I've seen in Wanniassa. There was an estimated 50 in a flock feeding on the grass verge near Yarralumla shops a couple of weeks ago as I drove past.
