I pass this on so that people are alert to a possibility.
A neighbour in Carwoola has reported to me an unusual bird about robin sized with a bright red chest and black and white markings in the head region. He has ruled out all red breasted robins and mistletoebird but, from looking at images on the web, does not rule out Crimson Chat. He will let me know if it reappears. Martin Butterfield |
