The excavator did its work in Kellys last Monday. You will see a few new logs and we have stripped the weed growth off the old shingle island.

 

You will also notice some major works in the grazed paddocks. This is ACTEW digging a trench to lay a high voltage cable. Part of the works associated with the new switching station being built at the sewerage works. This work has to be completed by October before the latham’s snipe return. Sometime in the near future another cable will be laid parallel to the cycleway. Will let you know when this will be as it is likely to impact access to the reserve.
