At the N.E corner of West Belconnen Pond near the end of Percy Begg Drive, an 
hour or so ago, several members of our group saw what we believe were two 
bassian thrushes.  They were brown with scollops on their breasts and stood 
upright when not eating something out of the grass. I thought" they can't be 
Bassian Thrushes, wrong place for them to be.  They are secretive birds and 
would not be in this open area"  However, that is what we all thought they 
were.  Anyone in that area could go and have a look?
