Funnily enough, I sighted 2 Rainbow Lorikeets in east Kambah on Thursday, and exactly 4 this morning.

The 2 on Thursday were flying high towards the Mannheim shops. And this morning when I saw 4, they were heading in the opposite direction from that Mannheim St area down towards Taylor Primary or somewhere. I've seen individuals before on numerous occasions in the same area, but never pairs etc.

Other random (possibly interesting) observations:

- 2 Gang-Gang's heading up to Mt Taylor (rarely seen in this particular location)
- Plenty of Eastern Spine Bills getting chased by Wattle Birds (its that time of year ...)
- Tawny Frogmouth just after dark at the base of a power poll near Bissenberger Cr (until it saw me and flew up on to the power line)
