Hi Judy.

It is almost certainly a Peron's Tree Frog.

Variously called Laughing Tree Frog, Maniacal Laughing Frog, Emerald Spotted Tree Frog. The pads and climbing behaviour you mention fit it as a Tree Frog.

The emerald spots are not always visible

It has a vertical line in the eye, giving it a "rifle Target Mark" (cross-hairs) appearance in its eyes.

Sorry this isn't about birds we found this frog in the toilet at my daughters house in Torrens. We rescued it and put it in her veggie garden. Does anyone know what sort of frog it is? It had suction pads on its feet and went up the tiles on the toilet wall.
