Walk next Wednesday looks "go"

The weather forecast for next Wednesday is not brilliant, but neither is it disastrous so I am proposing to head for Warks Rd as planned.  We should meet so that we leave Stromlo Forest Park at 8:30 next Wednesday 20 February.   I have indicated the meeting area in the attached image.   My experience is that the road is OK for most cars (leave the Ferrari at home) but it would be sensible on lots of grounds to pool so as to minimise the number of cars we travel.

I expect to: 

• keep an eye out for grassland birds on the fences as we go along Urriara Rd
• pause briefly at Urriara homestead dam;
• start driving slowly with the windows open (and stopping when something interesting is seen or heard)once we get to Blundell's Creek Rd
• probably walk up the road a way once we get to Warks Rd. 
• to go the full length of Warks Rd emerging at Bendora Dam Rd.  

I know some people have arrangements in the early afternoon so may wish to back track early but for most I suggest that packing a lunch (and lotsa water - it is still Summer - would be good. 

There will be a special award if someone can point me at a Cicadabird!
