I’ve just been watching about 20 circling through/over my GBS site in Chapman, for at least 5 minutes as they drifted slowly SW towards the top of Cooleman Ridge.
 
Easy to see against the cloud cover though also some were quite low, the first time I’ve seen them do this here for ages, probably since well before the fires.
 
So you might like to keep an eye out for them in your local patch, the next couple of months is usually the best time to see them locally.
