Just after 7am this morning, there were c. 8 Latham's Snipe on the
northern side of Molongolo Reach just east of the Holland House Hospice.
From the river I first saw 2 within 50 m of the Hospice, then 4 flushed
up and flew south towards the wetlands, and then I saw further 2
individuals (separated by 20 m) on the bank within c 100 m of the first
two.
Further up the reach on the mud opposite the Duntroon entrance there was
a Red-kneed Dotterel.
