Morcombe says "Male has a mellow, rather musical, ringing, "quow-eel, quow-eel,
quowee, quowee'; .... Female gives a series of four or so shrieking whistles:
"quieek-quieek-quieek-quieek'."
Luckily my Morcombe iPad app includes recordings of the calls, which are MUCH
easier to comprehend!
