Oh deary me.  I didn't see a satin flycatcher, I meant leaden flycatcher.  Also a jacky winter by 5.

Hi All

I went out with Julian this morning, hoping to find the painted honeyeaters.  It was rather quite, with some excitement when chasing a satin flycatcher, Julian mistaking its call as a fast version of the painted honeyeaters.  We eventually made it to marker 5, as mentioned in the e-mail, but found no signs of the honeyeaters.  There was however, a pair of brown goshawks, one of which was a juvenile, and one red-capped robin.  These were about the only exciting events of the trip, apart from the hitch-hiking cicada, and a bearded dragon by the wool shed.

Matt.
