The Little Eagle young at Campbell Pk is free-flying 100m or so from its nest.  A handsome reddish colour, greyish on back.  I came across it this morning on the ground drinking from a puddle where the buses have a rest.  Being given a bad time by friarbirds and miners.  Parent being watchful, but will be unable to protect it from traffic and other hazards.

I’d be grateful for any reports of other Little Eagle breeding for the annual write-up.
