Hi everyone,

Crake swathe is a good name. On monday I had 3 spotless, 3 australian and 2 baillon's. Earlier this month I (and a few other people as well i guess) had 3 baillon's.
That suggests a minimum of 9 crakes and 7 rails at the moment...

All 3 crakes again together – in the swathe approx 11am. The Baillons and Spotted were feeding out in the open when the Spottless did a quick sprint across the gap. Yesterday there were 2 Buff-banded rails at this spot with the Baillons. Single BT Native-hen still around. Think ‘Crake Swathe’ is a more appropriate name ...
