We saw the white throated gerygones starting to build the nest that Julian has
referred to, on October 19th. Since then there has been activity, sometimes
about the nest. I saw an adult bird feeding the other adult, on the edge of
the nest some time ago, Yesterday, Dec 7th this was happening again. Perhaps
there are eggs being brooded, or perhaps there are now chicks. But it is a
long time, 7 weeks, since the start of building the nest
Rufous song larks have been in the area for some time. On Friday december
30th, I found the nest and saw a bird carrying food into the nest. Yesterday I
thought that both parents were carrying food in
