Yesterday I posted a photo of a chick the identity of which had me stumped.
Thanks to various people for their assistance. The Guru Consensus (they
know how they are!) is that it is a Golden Whistler chick. Briefly
considered, but discarded, was the possibility that it was an Olive
Whistler chick, Olive Whistlers being the closest observed whistler to
the chick when the photo was taken: proximity does not prove connection.
My cuckoo suggestion was well, just cuckoo.
