Hi All

I was inside today, avoiding the hot weather, when I saw a pair of large birds circling over Higgins/Latham.  They had white bellies, and black wings.  I was shocked.  The pair of white-bellied sea-eagles from Sheperd's Lookout where flying over my suburb.  Racing outside with my binoculars, I yelled at my Dad excitedly: "Dad, Dad!!! It's the pair of sea-eagles from Sheperd's!"  But it was not to be.  Looking through my binoculars, the white-bellied sea-eagles had turned into a pair of straw-necked ibis.  The first two I have ever seen in Higgins.

Matt.
