Hi,

Quick visit to Jerrabomberra Wetlands yesterday night (21/11/12).
At 7.30pm, we had good views of the female little bittern from the hide that is
immediately on the right when coming from the carpark - Ardea or cygnus? The
bird was standing at the edge of the typhas and was gone after 2-3 minutes.
The bird was in fact standing right in front of the bittern hide but not
visible from this angle.
Otherwise, no crake but 3 Latham's snipes and at least 3 Night herons (someone
we met reported 7).

Cheers,

Observers: Vivien Rolland, Daniel Stanton and Gosia Pilat
