I saw Little Corellas this morning. There were more than 10 in a tree next to Justice Robert Hope Park North Watson.

Some of them were very dirty.  Does anyone know what they've been up to?

I went outside 30 minutes ago to take clothes off the line. It coincided with a flock of at least 50 Little Corellas flying over but only a few were calling. I see small numbers or hear Little Corellas from inside the house on about 40% of weeks. I wonder how many times when I record <5 birds on my GBS chart when it might be many more. As in had I not seen them I wouldn't know.

Whilst out there I watched the Pied Currawong with NY in my tree, pulling apart some nestling bird. It wedged it in a 3 part tree fork and plucked it and pulled off a leg, then carried it away. It couldn't pick what this one was, just grey fluffy plumage but about the right size and colour for a Noisy Miner (not that I have seen them nesting nearby). The previous one (or more?) that I can identify, from the remains of the partly grown feathers littered under the tree was a nestling Crested Pigeon. Although most food taken is insects.
