en route to Kama (east on W Hovell Drive) we saw a Spotted Harrier this afternoon.

The reserve itself was quiet, with the most notable things being Tree Martins in low numbers, Red-rumped Parrots, a pair of Brown Goshawks with a nest, Rufous Songlark and Brown-headed Honeyeater (one adult feeding another adult, suggesting breeding). Down by the river was a White-necked Heron, a Brown Falcon and many Australian Pipits.

At Jamieson Shopping Centre there were 7 Superb Parrots in the trees behind the Centre (ie north of the Centre), all males, and, bizarrely, a White-winged Triller male in one of the pear trees in the car-park.
